This is a unique opportunity to handle and fly some of the most impressive and powerful eagles in the world in the breathtaking surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our extensive collection includes White-Tailed and Steller's Sea Eagles, Bald, Golden, Martial,Crowned,Chilean, Bateleur and Bonelli's Eagles. We also have European and Milky Eagle Owls. Experiences available from September 1st to March 31st.
Morning
The experience begins with an introduction to our eagles and a chance to handle and fly the magnificent eagle owls of Europe and Africa, the largest owl species in the world. We then take one of the smaller Eagles, either a Bateleur or Chilean Eagle, to an adjacent hillside to fly on the air currents. You will marvel at the bird's flying abilities as he circles overhead, with a five-foot wingspan, waiting for you to call him back onto your gloved hand. We then take a break for lunch (included).
Afternoon
During the afternoon we venture out into the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales. Here you will experience larger Eagles, such as Golden, White-Tailed, Steller's or Bald Eagles soaring through the skies on outstretched wings measuring up to seven feet. See these spectacular birds navigate the complex air currents around the hills and rocky outcrops as nature intended. Now you can enjoy the thrill of calling these majestic birds down onto your gloved hand. Hunting with eagles can also be arranged on request (available from 1st September to 28th February). This really is an amazing experience never to be forgotten!
Price £195 per person. Lunch included. Maximum of two participants on each experience.
Spectators are welcome to accompany participants on the day. This gives ample opportunity to observe at close hand and take photographs to capture those special moments.
